Founded in 1989, The Alabama A&M University Alumni Hall of Fame recognizes and celebrates the outstanding achievements of our alumni who have made significant contributions to their professions, communities, and AAMU. These honorees exemplify the university's rich legacy of leadership, innovation, and service.
Through the Hall of Fame, we preserve the stories of alumni who have shaped our world and inspire future generations to continue AAMU’s bold legacy.
Important Dates to Remember
- Nomination Deadline: Mail Submission (Postmarked by: April 4th) and Online Submission (April 18th)
- Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony: November 14, 2025

Yes, self-nominations are accepted.
Back to Top - Is there a lifetime giving requirement for nominees?
Yes, nominees must have a lifetime donation of at least $5,000 to Alabama A&M University by December 31, 2024.
Back to Top - What is the nomination process?
Nominations can be submitted online or by mail. The deadlines are:
- Mail Submissions: Postmarked by April 4th.
- Online Submissions: Due by April 18th.

Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is scheduled for November 14, 2025.
Back to Top - How often are inductees selected?
Inductions occur every five years, with the most recent class being the Class of 2020.
