Oral History Project

Discover Our Legacy

Founded in 1875, Alabama A&M University (AAMU) stands as a testament to excellence in education and a legacy of achievement. For almost 150 years, AAMU has been a cornerstone of knowledge, a cradle of innovation, and a home to generations of Bulldogs.

In celebration of our 150th anniversary, The Office of Alumni Affairs is partnering with Publishing Concepts Inc. (PCI), to embark on a journey to commemorate our remarkable history and the contributions of our vibrant alumni community. This milestone is not just about looking back; it's about sharing our stories and shaping the legacy of AAMU for the future.

Your Voice Matters

This project is about more than just facts and figures. It's about the stories, the moments, and the personal journeys that define what it means to be a part of AAMU. Your voice will be a vital thread in the tapestry of our history, a legacy for future generations of Bulldogs to explore and cherish.

We want to emphasize that this is not an ordinary alumni directory. This is a nonfiction project meticulously crafted to anthologize your stories. By participating, you're ensuring that your unique AAMU experiences are preserved for posterity.
