ABOUT STEM DAY
STEM Day at Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University (AAMU) is an exciting event designed to promote the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics among students and the community. STEM Day was spearheaded by Dr. Matthew Edwards beginning in the Fall Semester of 2006. Since its first public hosting in 2007, STEM Day aims to provide a space for students and faculty mentors to present their research work and studies.

STEM Day in the Alabama A&M Event CenterINFORMATION FOR PRESENTERS
Students are highly encouraged to showcase their research by submitting an abstract for presentation during STEM Day. This event provides an invaluable platform for students to share their innovative ideas and findings with peers, faculty, and industry professionals. Under the guidance of their faculty mentors, students can refine their research and presentation skills, gaining critical feedback and recognition for their efforts. By participating, students not only highlight their academic achievements but also contribute to the vibrant exchange of knowledge that defines STEM Day. Graduate students are encourage to participate in the Oral Presentations. Abstracts for all presentations are due Friday, February 28, 2025 at 11:59PM.
