Civic Engagement and Voter Registration Training and Approval Timeline

Everyone MUST be trained. Training is mandatory. Prior to hosting any voter registration event, individuals must go through civic engagement and voter registration training.

Training

Four (4) trainings will take place each year.

  • 2 Fall
  • 2 Spring
  • All individual students, clubs, and organizations hosting a voter registration drive MUST attend yearly training.
    • Each organization must have 2 representatives present.
    • Organizations will receive a civic engagement training certificate at the conclusion of a training.

ON Campus:

Clubs and organizations, individual students, faculty, staff, etc.

  1. Attend an on-campus Civic Engagement training.
  2. Apply online 30 days prior to the event.
  3. Within two weeks you will receive approval from Civic Engagement Committee.
  4. Plan your event.

OFF Campus:

Civic and Community Organizations, Churches, Government Agencies, Individuals, etc.

  1. Apply online 30 days prior to the event.
  2. Complete on-line Civic Engagement Training
  3. Within two weeks you will receive approval from Civic Engagement Committee.
