ROTC Scholarships

ROTC: 2, 2.5, 3, 4-Year Scholarships

• Pays Tuition/Fees -OR- Room/Board ($6,000/semester)
• Book stipend of $600 per semester
• Cadet stipend of $420 per month
• Can request to commission as Active Duty or Reserve Component Officer
• Scholarship Cadets who meet and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above are eligible for free Room/Board (AAMU only)
  
  

Guaranteed Reserve Forces Duty(GRFD) 2 year, 3 year or 4 year

• Pays Tuition/Fees OR Room/Board ($6,000/semester)
• Book stipend of $600 per semester
• Cadet stipend of $420 per month
• Join the Army Reserves and commission as a Reserve Component Officer

Minuteman Scholarship: 3 year or 4 year

Simultaneous Membership Program

The Simultaneous Membership Program allows you to attend Army ROTC and serve in the U.S. Army Reserve or National Guard at the same time. Cadets serve as officer trainees in the Army Reserve or National Guard while completing college. You can earn Army Reserve/National Guard pay and benefits in addition to your Army ROTC allowances.

• Federal Tuition Assistance $4,000/semester
• GI Bill? / ANGEAP Benefits (Tuition up to $5842/semester)
• Cadet stipend of $420 per month
• Earn Drill Pay as an E5 (over $368/month)
  
  

Graduate Students

Alabama A&M University Army ROTC allows Graduate Students to enroll in ROTC while pursuing their Graduate Degree. Graduate Students can earn their Master’s Degree and simultaneously earn an Army Commission as a Second Lieutenant within two years.
