AAMU Announces 2025 Summer Programs and Camps
AAMU ALSAMP Summer Computing Program
July 1, 2025 – July 31, 2025
The Alabama Louis Stokes Alliance for Minorities Participation (ALSAMP) Summer Computing Program at Alabama A&M University is intended for first-year freshmen and community college transfer students. Accepted students will participate in an asynchronous outline course on the Principles of Computing coordinated by the University of Alabama campus during July 2025. The Principles of Computing course mirrors the College Board's AP Computer Science Principles course, using Python as the foundational programming language. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate. Additionally, training will continue with a series of computational thinking and programming workshops offered during the fall and spring semesters of the academic year.
