Alabama A&M University’s 23rd Annual Black Tie Scholarship Gala presented by Medtronic was a spectacular success. The University raised almost $600,000 at Friday's event, held for the first time at the new Event Center.

Grammy-nominated R&B artist Eric Benét headlined the event which also recognized community leaders and organizations who impact their industries and Alabama A&M:
